HTML for writers

Recently I discovered a new and elegant way to simplify writing html.

A way to write "almost plain text", making the raw html extremely readable. With this method, you get what you write... It is so simple! All that's needed is a handful of clever, easy snippets.

Rolling snippets

Using my "half-snippets", made me realize I could be more creative. That's how I found the "rolling" snippets (for lack of a better word), that always start with a closing tag and end with an opening tag. Second part of the secret, is to place them on the blank line beween two paragraphs or between a heading and a paragraph.

This way, the text is freed from tags, and the tags become just a discrete part of the blank line. A calmness arises from the text, that I didn't feel before, while writing html...

Basically, we're only using two tags, paragraphs and headings:

That's it! If you so wish, you could forget all other snippets and be happy!
Give it a try, if you prefer writing ...

Welcome!

This very first post in this new news section, is still a bit shy.

I tried to reassure it, that everything will be fine and that , because of the fact that I have no roadmap, no strategy, not a plan really, doesn't mean we will fail. I tried to explain that the only thing that counts, is the amount of joy emanating from our writings. All else is either Economy or a similar utter Waste of Precious Time.

I fully realize that, if I continue to babble like this, I am effectively starting to waste your time. I will never say this out loud, but that was always part of the goal. Over the centuries, countless poets have done just that, allure their readers to enter the better half of their brains.

And stay there.
